Wren is a single mom, which brings the town gossipers out of their dark holes, and the reputation shredding begins.

Wren isn't worried for herself - she's withstood worse. However, when Caleb starts getting bullied at school because of the slander, Wren pulls up stakes and finds a job at a library in the small beachside town of Largo Bay.

In the course of tracking down who purchased his parents love letters at the local thrift store, Dom finds Wren and asks if he can buy back the letters.
Unfortunately, she didn't have a chance to answer before she fainted.
It's a good thing Dom is a paramedic.
